Wilson Brothers Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc

Case Study – Ductless Air Conditioning

Short but hazy, hot, humid summers

They may be short, but New England summers can be extremely uncomfortable during the hazy, hot, and humid days. Wilson Brothers Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc was contacted by a customer whose family spent most of its time in the large family room of its colonial home. They wanted to cool that room and the adjacent kitchen and dining area but didn’t want to install central air conditioning.

Wilson Brothers recommended a Ductless Cooling System by Mitsubishi Electric – a slim wall-mounted unit that we installed high on the family room wall. Its ability to cool large areas with no internal ductwork made it perfect for this family. Available with a high-energy efficient rating of 25 SEER, the Mitsubishi is very quiet. Its optional heat pump is ideal for taking the chill out of autumn and early spring mornings, providing all-season comfort. In addition, the system was eligible for a tax credit of 30% of the installed cost (up to $1,500) and a $500 rebate from their Electric Company.
