Ductless Systems:
A ductless air conditioning system has three main components: an indoor air handling unit, an outdoor condensing unit and a remote controller. The indoor and outdoor units are easily connected by refrigerant lines running through a small three-inch opening in the wall or ceiling. The outdoor unit cycles the refrigerant through the lines to and from the indoor unit, where the air is conditioned and distributed into the space. Installation is as simple as mounting the indoor and outdoor units, connecting the refrigerant lines, and making a few electrical connections. Your home can now be more comfortable than ever. You don’t need ductwork or a window space. The sleek wall-mounted indoor unit mounts discreetly high on the wall. The outdoor unit is slim and requires minimal ground space or service clearance.
Advantages:
Ductless air conditioners have many advantages over the central air conditioners. The installation is very simple, easy and fast since no ductwork is required. It doesn’t use up window space or need large openings in the walls as the window air conditioners require. The outdoor unit for a ductless air conditioning system is small and quiet. Some models of ductless air conditioners have built in filters, which are capable of removing larger allergens, thus they purify the air. Also, the filters used in ductless air conditioners can be cleaned and used again.
Disadvantages:
These units cool a limited area of your home. If you have multiple areas to cool, you will need a separate unit for each area.
Key System Features:
- AIR FILTER
Built-in IAQ air filtration system - I-SEE SENSOR
The i-see sensor detects the always troublesome regions of temperature closer to the ceiling and the floor. The i-see sensor also controls the air flow up to a wide 150º lateral angle for ultimate comfort by scanning the room and making adjustments based on the ambient temperature readings. - INVERTER TECHNOLOGY
Through advanced technology, Inverter air conditioners are more economical to operate and quieter to run than conventional units. They can handle greater extremes in temperature, are smoother and more stable in operation, and reach the desired temperature more quickly than conventional air conditioners. - REMOTE CONTROL
Comfort control is at your fingertips with the standard wireless remote controller. - SEER RATING
Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio, a rating that measures the cooling efficiency of a heat pump or air conditioner. - WASHABLE PANEL FILTER
The removable and washable panel filter is an effective air cleanser, removing mold & dust from the environment. Cleaning of the indoor unit itself is simple due to the design and shape of the casing.
